Heavy Double Knit Socks

Heavy double knit Socks in two colours with vertical band heel for Kathryn.

I saw Kathryn outside cutting the gorse with snoppers, and wearing her huge gumboots, I was inspired to make these nice thick long socks. Kathryn is tall and so I made these a generous length, allowing for the possibility of some felting in those heavy gumboots.

Materials

One 50 gm ball of cream 8 ply, and two balls of green double knit.
